The number of widows we minister to each week continues to grow. The last few months, many elderly have become widows due to horrible weather and compromised immune systems. Difficult manual labor is the only way for them to survive. Sadly they do not take the rest needed, nor eat enough under such circumstances.
This ministry is heartbreaking yet very rewarding. It’s an honor to come alongside them to bring life and joy in midst of their struggle. Although they appreciate the food we provide, it’s the time spent loving them that helps them to endure another day.
