The Great Commission calls us to make disciples not converts Matt 28: 19-20). In response to this, Hope for the Island offers discipleship classes for all who come to know the Lord. This is a challenging task anywhere in the world. HOPE presses through many cultural obstacles and religious barriers in order to prioritize this mandate. By focusing on discipleship as a vital part of the Great Commission, believers are now finding their identity in Jesus, bearing fruit and bringing glory and honor back to God! Disciples are being equipped and going on to participate as ministry assistants. They are also giving back into their community through our weekly community outreaches services.
